Abstract : Many of parasitic infections associated with maternal and fetal consequences great if received during pregnancy. Generally, infection before birth, the more severe consequences of the fetus when it occurs early in the pregnancy, because the first three months of infection could disrupt organogenesis. The second and third can cause inflammation third weakness neurological or developmental disorders. Toxoplasma gondii derives its name from the specific gondii, and rodents in North Africa this protozoan, which was first isolated in 1908. Object in the distribution is everywhere. T gondii has the ability to cross species lines and the establishment of infection not only in man domestic animals, but the man himself. Toxoplasma exists in nature in three forms, and trophozoite, bag and oocyst. The most important way of transmission to humans is through the ingestion of poorly cooked meat containing organisms encysted. Human infection occurs when eaten infected meat, or when food is contaminated cat feces, by flies and cockroaches, or fingers. Infection rates are highest in areas of poor sanitation and crowded living conditions. Feral cats and domestic cats that eat raw meat are the most likely to carry the parasite. The bag is destroyed by heat. Will never risk-free of antibodies to T gondii infection after eating food that contains living organisms, and will encysted oocysts excreted for several weeks. About 50% of felines challenged later by feeding the bag again and will excrete oocysts, which refers to the possibility that the cats may be infectious several times during his life. Those cats that hunt or eat raw meat by contaminating them through the fecal excretion of oocysts may be potentially dangerous for pregnant patients.
