Administrative Sciences. Volume 5, No 2. (1993/1413) Abstract The purpose of this research is to identify the prevailing perceptions among health centers personnel in Riyadh and leddah cities about community participation in primary health care, and to determine the factors influencing those perceptions. Data for the research were obtained from a survey undertaken by researchers among all health manpower of a randomly selected sample of health centers in Riyadh and leddah. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (Frequency distributions and percentages) and Chi-square to test the relationship between selected variables and the prevailing perceptions among health centers personnel about community participation. Results show that nationality, educational level, training courses in primary health care, and type of job were statistically significant in influencing the prevailing perceptions of health centers personnel in Riyadh and jeddah cities.
