Abdullah and saeed zaqr scientific program and research to fight AIDS – one of the scientific programs in the university – is a researching or academic program in the university aims at increasing the human knowledge , improving thinking and serving the local cases ,this course is financed by sheikh WAHEEB BIN ZAQR.

Professor /Ghazi Abdullahtif Jamjoum is the head and supervisor of the team ,in addition to some qualified ,efficient and experienced researchers

The professors play essentials roles in fighting AIDS such as the caused viruses from all biological and chemical aspects on cellular and molecular level ,determining the way of its spreading ,studying diseases results from infection ,how it occurs and the immunizing response of the body and the reasons of its shortages .Also , doing researches aims at developing medicines to prevent multiplying the viruses and treat it and developing the vaccine . in addition to participating in treating the patients to evaluate the ways of treating and the effectiveness of new medicines, also participating the awareness efforts from this diseases and to be protected ,also determining the social factors cause its spreading.

Making scientific program is one of shoring scientific ,clinical and social activities which university can take part in.

Abstract
(aware of HIV disease some social directions towards it)
The immunodeficiency (HIV/AIDS) in most of the world in different percentage one of them is kingdom of Saudi Arabia especially in Jeddah city as it obtained the highest population density .in this sense prevention is better than cure ,the awareness of people is one of the ways and methods of public prevention .

Knowing the people of the disease indications make them aware of this phenomena whether positively or negatively . AIDS has become a worldwide phenomena and there are great efforts exerts to fight and treat it .

Also ,in this sense , the importance of this research lies in it's aims at knowing the awareness level of Saudi social classes and the directions of theses classes towards AIDS to find recommendations to end this phenomena which become most dangerous ,especially in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia where millions of incomers from all over the world .

Study questions
 

1)what's the level of HIV/AIDS for different classes of Jeddah community such as students ,teachers ,religion and health people ……etc. ?

2)what are the directions of Jeddah social classes of (students , teachers ,religion , security, defense people ,employees and workers ……) towards HIV/AIDS .is this correct refuse or persuading refuse or exaggerative protection for the patient of HIV/AIDS .

3)sending doctors who working in the field of fighting HIV/AIDS in training courses such as the participation of doctor /Hana Bakhshen in a training course about Epidemiology of HIV/AIDS in CAPRISA for HIV/AIDS research in COSOLO university in Derban city in South Africa .knowing and reading the reseaches done there on HIV/AIDS .

4)hosting famous scientists in HIV/AIDS to their experiences and experiments

(A)we hosted Prof. Seleem Abdulkareem ,Prof. of epidemiology and vice of CAPRISA for HIV/AIDS research in COSOLO university in Derban city in South Africa , who was a famous researchers in HIV/AIDS field and his researches includes developing vaginal antiseptics prevents moving of moving of the virus of HIV/AIDS and producing a new vaccine for it . Then , he was introduced to the center staff and the researching team and visited the national program center for fighting HIV/AIDS in king Suaad hospital – Jeddah . Also, he gave two lectures entitled " HIV/AIDS in south Africa "& "the global AIDS Epidemic"

(B)we hosted Prof. Qrashah Abdulkareem , Prof. Seleem Abdulkareem's wife who works in CAPRRISA center and participating in different researches of HIV/AIDS .

(C)Dr. Kathrene to woo KSA , the assistant Prof. in California university in Santiago –international Dep. Where she recognized king Fahad center for medical researches and gave a lecture about HIV/AIDS " managing the challenges of AIDS in low prevalence countries "

5)making workshops about AIDS for the specialists in king fahad center for medical research .

6)insurance for the analysis of fighting HIV/AIDS test in king fahad center for medical research .

7)shore awareness department about AIDS in king Saaud hospital –Jeddah .

8)support the center of advising and voluntary research in king Saaud hospital .

9)participation in revising AIDS systems which aims at guaranteeing the registered rights of AIDS patients in the international treatments especially in the effective remedy and health and social care .
